Fondazione Pio Manzù

La Fondazione Pio Manzù nasce nel 2017 a Bergamo, centro studi ed archivio dedicato alla figura del designer italiano Pio Manzù con lo scopo di tramandarne i progetti e le opere.
La visione aperta e dialettica della Fondazione Manzoni arte e design, costantemente proiettata ad esplorare le possibili funzioni nuove del design l’ha portata ad investigare sulle figure del design italiano con la creazione di una collana editoriale.
Tra le finalità della Fondazione vi è il sostegno di iniziative, progetti e manifestazioni di alto profilo per incentivare studi e ricerche nel campo del design, della tecnologia dei materiali, dei processi di produzione, dei mezzi e delle infrastrutture per la mobilità, e l’ambiente.

The Pio Manzù Foundation was born in 2017 in Bergamo: a study and archive center dedicated to the figure of the Italian designer Pio Manzù with the aim of passing on his projects and works.
The open and dialectical vision of the Manzoni Art and Design Foundation, constantly projected to explore the possible new functions of design, has led it to investigate the figures of Italian design with the creation of an editorial series.
Among the aims of the Foundation they are the support of high-profile initiatives, projects and events to encourage studies and research in the field of design, technology of materials, production processes, means and infrastructures for mobility, and environment.
